Noah George, EIT – Staff Engineer

Noah is a civil engineer in training with a degree in civil engineering from the University of Idaho. Upon graduation Noah started his career working for an engineering and forestry firm in Washington state. During this time, he had the opportunity to work on many different projects including parks, commercial sites, and residential subdivisions. These projects exposed Noah to many different design aspects within the field of civil engineering including roadway, utility, stormwater, grading, and site layout design. Noah also gained field survey and forestry planting inspection experience during this time. At Rio, Noah is responsible for developing engineering designs, performing scientific and engineering analyses, data management and GIS, technical writing, topographic surveying, field data collection, and construction observation. The ability to work with rivers and improve their habitat is exciting to Noah.

In his free time, Noah will be found enjoying the outdoors and his friends and family. Noah’s favorite hobby is fishing; salmon, steelhead and trout are his favorite. Noah also enjoys hunting, camping, hiking, snowboarding, and playing sports.
